Enquire About a Similar PieceThis antique rosewood jewellery box, dating from the 1830s, has been delicately inlaid with foliate brass leaf designs to the front and top, edged in radial brass and finished with recessed side handles.
The interior has been lined and ruched with burgundy velvet and comprises a large front compartment with three smaller separated rear compartments. The inner rims of the box are inlaid with fine brass stringing.
The Bramah lock is fully working and comes with an original Bramah key.
