Antique Jewellery Box in Coromandel with Radial Edging

Dating from the early 1870’s, this radial edged antique jewellery box in Coromandel is inlaid with recessed brass side handles, brass stringing and brass corner mounts.

The interior of the box is lined with gold velvet and matching grosgrain silk.

When pressed, a brass plate to the rear of the box deploys the spring-loaded and independently lockable lower drawer.

Both Bramah locks come with their original keys.
