Antique Jewellery Box in Coromandel

Dating from the 1870's, this antique jewellery box with a radial edged lid is veneered in vibrant Coromandel and edged in brass.

The interior of the box is lined with teal green velvet and matching moiré silk. A push button to the rear rim of the box deploys the spring-loaded lower drawer. This partitioned drawer is fitted with a full width ring/ cuff link channel. The interior brass work is delicately engraved with a foliate and scroll work design.

The Bramah lock is fully working and comes with its original Bramah key.
