Antique Jewellery Box in Coromandel, by Toulmin & Gale

Dating from the mid 1870’s, this large antique jewellery box is veneered in Coromandel with brass edging and a Bramah patent lock.

The interior is lined with petrol blue velvet and matching grosgrain silk.

A brass plate to the rear rim of the box is engraved with ‘Toulmin & Gale, Makers, London’.

The Bramah patent lock, engraved with ‘Toulmin & Gale - London’ comes with its original key.
