Extra-Large Antique Expanding Jewellery Box in Calamander

This very impressive and imposing box is veneered in vibrant Calamander with brass edging and stringing.

The interior is lined with blue velvet and moiré silk. A central push button releases two spring-loaded side trays, revealing a compartmented lower floor. Secret floor triggers to each side tray release spring-loaded drawers from their frontages.

Two full-width removable, leather-bound trays are fitted to the rear of the box.

The box retains its original leather outer case.

The Bramah lock is fully working with its original key.
