Antique Jewellery Box in Rosewood with Scrollwork Brass Inlay

Dating from the mid-1830's, this antique jewellery box in Rosewood is inlaid with a delicate scrollwork brass design, accompanying radial brass edging, recessed side handles and a Bramah lock.

The interior has been lined in green velvet and moiré silk, with the inner rims of the box inlaid with dual brass stringing.

The self-locking Bramah lock is fully working and comes with its original Bramah key.
