Dating from 1830, this is an exceptionally rare and appealing antique miniature jewellery box in Flame mahogany and Ebony with foliate brass inlay, brass side handles and a Bramah lock.

The interior has been lined with green velvet and edged with green moiré silk. The lid is fitted with a fixed brass inlaid, rosewood-framed mirror.

The Bramah lock comes with its original key.
