Antique 180º Opening Travelling Jewellery Box in Coromandel, by Howell, James & Co

A 180° opening travelling jewellery box in coromandel of smaller proportions. Manufactured by Howell, James & Co circa 1875.

The exterior retains its original French polish finish that is in very good condition.

The interior, lined with dark blue morocco leather and silk velvet, houses two removable trays and a spring-loaded mirror that retains its original glass.

The Bramah lock comes with its original Bramah key.
