Antique Georgian Jewellery Box in Burr Walnut & Kingwood with Floral Marquetry Inlay

Dating from the mid-1820’s, this exceptional antique jewellery box, veneered in burr walnut and framed with kingwood, is inlaid with delicate floral and foliate marquetry.

The interior is lined with green velvet and moiré silk. A compartmented leather-bound tray is removed to reveal an open lined compartment beneath.

The box comes in beautiful condition throughout. The working lock retains its original key.
