An Exceptionally Rare Large Antique Rosewood Brass Inlaid Glass Display Jewellery Box

Dating from the early 1830s, this large and exceptionally rare antique jewellery display box is veneered in rosewood with foliate brass inlay on all sides. It has a hinged solid rosewood-framed glass lid, and is unusually finished with a Bramah lock.

The interior is lined with mulberry-purple velvet, complementing the polished mahogany walls.

The Bramah lock comes with its key.

The box and glass come in immaculate condition.
