Dating from the 1880s, this antique jewellery box is veneered in coromandel, with brass edging and recessed brass side handles.

The cushioned single-compartment interior is lined and ruched with vibrant fuchsia purple velvet.

The Thomas Turner Patent lock is fully working and comes with its key.
