Miniature Antique Jewellery Box in Burr Walnut

This small and beautiful antique jewellery box, veneered in burr walnut on a solid mahogany structure, with decorative brass overlay and central monogram, was manufactured circa 1870 and attributed to George Betjemann & Sons.

The central monogram, bearing an ‘L’ family monogram, is mounted onto a purple velvet backing which, in turn, is inset into an oval brass frame.

Both the exterior and interior come in excellent condition throughout.

The lock comes with its working key.
