Dating from the late 1830s, this antique jewellery box was manufactured and retailed by one of the finest English cabinetmakers, Edwards. It is veneered in rosewood, edged in brass and finished with a Bramah lock.

The interior of the box is lined with teal velvet and moiré silk.

The Bramah lock is fully working and comes with its original key.
